An official says Al shabaab militants have seized the remains of unmanned drone that crashed near the southern town of Bardere in Gedo region on Monday.The administrator of Sha Da’ar village Aden Osman Nur, has confirmed the seizure of the debris of the drone by Al shabaab. The crash area lies 70Km away from Bardere and it is controlled by the militants.Meanwhile, the Pentagon denied reports that one of U.S. drones operating in east Africa crashed in Gedo region, south-west of Somalia. U.S. drones have in the past carried out airstrikes in southern Somalia, targeting Al shabaab leaders.
