| IED defused in Noshki |

| QUETTA: Security forces defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Tuesday, targeting their convoy patrolling the main highway linking Noshki with Kharan. Personnel of the Frontier Corps spotted an IED planted near Ahmedwal while patrolling the area, official sources said. The FC bomb disposal squad defused the 10kg IED which miscreants had planted targeting the convoy of security forces, an FC spokesman said. The FC forces also caught three suspects of a banned organisation during a search operation they carried out in Gadnoi Chowki area of Sui in Dera Bugti, he said adding the three were handed over to concerned authority for further investigation.
