(IS) group in Iraq after using information obtained from a captured bad boy, the Pentagon said on Thursday.

US-led coalition forces detained Sulayman Dawud al Bakkar, IS group's head of chemical and traditional weapons manufacturing, during an operation in Iraq in February, Pentagon front man Peter Cook said in a statement.

"We believe that the information we've been able to obtain will allow us to conduct additional operations," Cook said at a news briefing on Thursday. Cook said the intelligence came from "the information we learned from this individual."

Al Bakkar, also known as Abu Dawud, was transferred to Iraqi custody on Thursday, Cook said. He gave details about IS group's chemical weapons facilities and production and the people involved, Cook said.

He said the United States does not believe it has been able to altogether eliminate IS group's chemical weapons capability.

#4  Beqaa has been controlled by Hezbollah in the past. No idea about today.

Keep in mind that the ISIS people were getting support from Iran and Syria and their allies like Hezbollah back in the 'noughts when they were "the resistance" in Iraq.

#3  Now was that so hard? 0bama could have hit Syria's CBW capabilities instead of walking away from his red line and triggering the Ukraine and ISIS crises.

#2  Beqaa is in Lebanon, Blossom Splat8740. Is that Hizb'allah territory? I can't imagine them sharing such things with ISIS, despite Iran sheltering that Al Qaeda contingent for so long.

#1  Any proximity to Beqaa, where those mysterious trucks from Iraq went, nearly a decade and half ago?
