was booed at Thursday night’s Democratic presidential debate after she defended raising money from Wall Street by arguing that President B.O. had done the same.
"Make no mistake about it, this is not just an attack on me, it’s an attack on President B.O.," Clinton said, provoking jeers from the Brooklyn crowd.
"Let me tell you why -- you may not like it, but let me tell you why," the former first lady responded.
"President B.O. had a super-PAC," she continued. "President B.O. raised tens of millions of dollars from campaign contributors, and President B.O. was not at all influenced when he made the decision to pass and sign Dodd Frank, the toughest regulation on Wall Street in many a year."

"This is a phony attack designed to raise questions when there is not evidence or support to undergird the insinuations he’s putting forward," Clinton said.
