(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Friday the killing of 15 ISIS elements during a military operation east of Ramadi.
Mahalawi said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the army’s Tenth Division had managed to kill 15 ISIS elements, using artillery, in the areas of Albu bali and Albu Obeid east of Ramadi,” adding also that, “A force from the Third regiment of the [army’s] Eighth Division had managed to detain a wanted individual near Bzabz Bridge in the vicinity of al-Ameriyat (23 km south of Fallujah).”
