Political leaders, like the falcon, were meant to obey their minders, but Yeats’s falcon had soared above them and loosed mere anarchy on the world. Today, Donald Trump’s campaign soars above our conservative elites, who in their foundations, their little magazines, their think tanks, define what conservatives may do or say. Trump ignores them, they tell us, and disorder and chaos must follow. Very long, but IMO, worth the effort Just one more quote ...Table 1 reports on how countries rank on a measure of mobility, the correlation between the earnings of fathers and sons. With a ranking of zero there is perfect mobility, and perfect immobility with a ranking of one. It will come as a surprise to realize that the U.S. is one of the most immobile countries in the developed world, that children in other such countries are better able to climb the economic ladder. Through a broken educational system, insane immigration laws, a regulatory state on steroids, a disregard for the rule of law, we have created an aristocracy and betrayed the promise of America. |

| #8 Much fear and constipation these days. So many have gotten Trump wrong time after time. I don't bother listening to them. I suspect many others are doing the same, the voters!!. Tuesday will be a great day for the country and Trump. The silent majority is silent no longer. Certainly the Republicans will fight Trump more than they ever did O. That will fade as they see the influence Trump will have with the American people. They will take the way of least resistance. The media will be revitalized and see aligning with Trump bringing prosperity to a dying industry. Using tools of management and his ability I suspect he will hit the ground running. Focus on the home front. Requiring less sleep than most he will run the legs off his staff. Think positive. Think results. Think America united as in war. A new chapter in American history is going to be written. Seize the day !!. |

| #7 The problem is that Trump will be a boat anchor. This will hand Congress (the Senate) to the Dems. The Trump-a-dump has started - he's being used to bash the GOP senator in Arkansas already. Get ready for this type of stuff to be run non-stop as "News" as well as in campaign commercials like this. |

| #6 MONEY-if the only real export left that the United States has is the military than it is about time the rest of them PAY for the services rendered just like any other work order or contract! At least Trump has the Balls and testosterone left to say it! |

| #3 You do not go into the fight with what you want, but with what you have. I view the latest presidential follies as a bunch of Beltway insiders, determined to maintain the status quo(with all its largess and plunder)even if it means their own destruction in the end by the system they manipulated finally collapsing. I have great reservations about Trump, but he is the only one attacking the established elite. The Washington DC establishing is bleeding the country dry, and saddling the people with an avalanche of laws and regulations. As far as the other candidates go, they will just accelerate the destruction of this country. The system is broken because Congress does not assume the responsibilities and powers that are given them under the constitution. DC has played fast and loose with the constitution, and now has a sister city in Brussels. If the overbearing power of DC is not downsized, then the country will begin to break up, mainly due to bankruptcy. Take a look at Puerto Rico, Venezuela. This is where we are heading if we do not take back this country. Back to Trump. We know that he is the only one attacking the political status quo. Every other candidate is vested in the corrupt system that is bringing down this country. If Trump screws up when in office, he can be removed. That is the way I look at it. The least worst alternative. In the next world, you are on your own. |

| #2 I suspect if/when Trump becomes President the Congress will suddenly start to take their job as a counter-balance to the Executive Branch seriously again. That is unless Trump keeps the gravy train running on time. |

| #1 It's ironic how the elite's sing the doom and gloom of trump. They say he will drive the country to ruin, and he might be at the helm as we go over the cliff. We must understand who is to blame here and it's not trump or the current political opportunists. It is the voters. We elected criminals that slowly changed the rules so they could hold power, profit from that power, and reduce the voters ability to change them out. Currently all those that stick to these rules are hiding behind them. Possibly out of complicity or possibly out of fear of change. Either way people awoke this year in both parties realizing that out nation is broke both financially and ethically. People on both sides want our nation back. We want our nation led by people with integrity. Understand that if the popular vote is again ignored the people will rise up, not to just protest. They will rise up to overthrow those that have taken our constitution hostage to greed. The threat of violence, and not riots, real targeted violence is out there. Not by a few nuts, but by rational people that see their democracy is no longer one. The GOP needs to think long and hard about how they handle this. The fate of our nation could be at stake. The democrats have long been a bastion of greed, or so we thought, now we realize the left and right wing are on the same bird. We as a nation need to look inward put America first, fix our leadership problem and get ourselves back on track. When you do an intervention, no one likes the counselor, but we all need to understand we can't go on like we are and we need this intervention. Another 8 years of the same will make our nation unrepairable. It's time, before less cool heads prevail. |
