| Republican John Kasich ended his longshot presidential bid on Wednesday, NBC News and Politico reported, leaving Donald Trump's path clear to capture the Republican nomination for the Nov. 8 election. |

| #5 Kasich is deserving of nothing but scorn. He should have bowed out long ago, and for the life of me I can't figure out why he imagines that he represents the Republican party. Had he folded long ago, perhaps Cruz or somebody else would have had a legit shot of making up ground on Trump. |

| #4 now Kasich can switch to the campaign to be Trump's VP Wouldn't be surprised but not sure he'd be any better than Carly. Well, maybe, if he can bring Ohio and then shut up. |
