General Mohammad Hashim, Security Chief of the Vice President’s Office, said the two suspects had completed their training in Pakistain and were deployed to Jawzjan to plan and coordinate attacks.
He said at least 35 Taliban Lions of Islam were killed during the operations led by Gen. Dostum in the past 2 weeks.
The two bully boyz have confessed that they were working for the Taliban group and they were using the explosives to make Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to carry out attacks in this province.
According to Gen. Hashim, the bully boyz were arrested as Gen. Dostum was visiting the cleared areas from the Taliban presence which includes 200 villages in 7 districts.
He said Gen. Dostum has instructed the security force to establish security posts in the areas where clearance operations have been conducted.
