| Threat of kidnapping continues to be very high in Kabul, US Embassy warns citizens |

The statement further added "There are no further details regarding the targets, timing, or method of any planned kidnappings." "The U.S. Embassy continues to take this threat seriously and advises U.S. citizens to take appropriate security precautions and to avoid predictable travel patterns within Afghanistan," the statement said. This comes as the anti-government armed Death Eater groups have been attempting to carry out attacks in capital Kabul during the recent weeks which comes after the Taliban group announced its spring offensive.
