[RFE/RL] Kosovo has charged two ethnic Albanians with terror offenses for allegedly joining an Islamic militant group in Syria.On May 6, the prosecutor's office said the two left Pristina in November 2013 for Turkey before eventually ending up in the Syrian city of Azaz where they were trained and armed by the Al-Nusra Front militant group. They are believed to have taken part in fighting until they returned to Kosovo after three months later.
It is not clear if they have been arrested.

Officials say that some 70 Kosovo citizens are believed to be active in Syria and Iraq.
