Alan Grayson - When you're too corrupt for Harry Reid? |
2016-05-12 |
![]() The Hill reports Grayson turned on Sen. Reid saying, "Shame on you. It's not true." Reid, never one to back down from a fight, replied, "It is true and I want you to lose." Rep. Ellison, who was running the CPC meeting reportedly called out Grayson for the disruption. An unidentified source told the Hill all the Democrats were "appalled" at Grayson's behavior adding, "It was embarrassing for him and embarrassing for us that he behaved that way." Later, Sen. Reid's office released a brief statement about the encounter. It reads in part: Senator Reid took the opportunity to express his low opinion of Congressman Grayson to his face and remind him that reason Senator Reid has said that Grayson is under ethics investigation and appears to be running a Cayman Islands hedge fund from his Congressional office in order to line his own pockets is because these things are true, as established by seventy-four pages’ worth of evidence from the Congressional Ethics Committee. |

#1 Grayson should have smacked Reid in the face with some large rubber bands. |
