(IraqiNews.com) Local witnesses said on Friday, that Turkish warplanes attacked sites for the PKK militants in Qandil Mountains north of Iraq.One of the witnesses reported for IraqiNews.com, “Turkish warplanes conducted a violent attack on sites for the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in the areas of Ainza and Lyoza located in Qandil Mountains, ” pointing out that, “The size of losses caused by the attack is still unknown.”
The witness added, “The Turkish air strikes are ongoing until now,” noting that, “Smoke rose from the areas which were bombed.”
