Venezuela’s El Tiempo (link in Spanish) reports that Joe Kennedy met last Friday with Nicolás Maduro and VP Delcy RodrÃguez.
Apparently Joe went to canvass for more free oil for his JOE-4-Oil Citizens Energy Corporation which used to provide free heating oil to Boston-area residents under an arrangement signed by the late Hugo Chávez.
The article does not say the result of the JOE-4-Oil/Maduro meeting. Venezuela’s oil production has been plummeting to the point that the country can not pay its drillers.
