14 Katyusha rockets fall at Baghdad International Airport

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior informed that 14 Katyusha rockets fell near Baghdad International Airport in western Baghdad.

The source informed, “An armed group launched 14 Katyusha rockets somewhere from northwest of Baghdad, and they fell near the Baghdad International Airport. Four rockets fell at the Liberty Camp, located inside Baghdad International Airport.”

Shelling in southern Baghdad, 3 dead & 12 injured

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source from the Iraqi Police revealed that three persons were killed and twelve others injured due to shelling in southern Baghdad.

According to information shared by the source, it was stated, “This evening, three mortar shells fell on an internally displaced people’s camp in al-Sayediya area of southern Baghdad. Due to this, three people were killed and twelve others injured.”

The source added, “The injured were transferred to a nearby hospital and the dead bodies to the forensic department.”
