| [ARA News] QAMISHLI ‐ The Syrian Kurds and their allies declared the northeastern city of Qamishlo [Qamishli] as the new capital of the federal system in Northern Syria and Rojava, a Kurdish leaders and member of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) told ARA News. While the war between the Syrian government and opposition factions continue, Syrian Kurds are finalizing their plans to establish a new federal system for northern Syria while at the same time fighting the radical group of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more.
