Dem officials jeered, booed at convention opening; DNC apologizes over emails
2016-07-26
[FOXNEWS] A remarkable scene unfolded Monday at the kickoff of the Democratic National Convention as Bernie Sanders
...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords...
supporters and other angry party members booed and jeered officials attempting to open proceedings ‐ leading the presiding officer to scold delegates, "We are all democrats,
That's the problem in a nutshell. They aren't supposed to be democrats, but Democrats. Though that the journalist heard the lack of a capital in all that noise is impressive, indeed.
and we need to act like it."
"So getcher hand in that till and get my nephew a paying job on some committee!"
The opening made clear that the party is far from united, despite the new DNC leadership offering an official apology to Sanders and the party just as the convention was getting underway for what it called "the inexcusable remarks made over email" by brass hats that seemed to show a bias against Sanders.
They got Stephanie Rawlins Blake, the mayor of Baldymore, to open the festivities. She's the one who told the cops to stand down and let the rioters riot during the Freddie Gray drama.
The statement from incoming party leader, Donna Brazile, and six other officials, offered a "deep and sincere apology" and said the emails, leaked by WikiLeaks, "do not reflect the values of the DNC or our steadfast commitment to neutrality during the nominating process."

The written statement also said the party will not tolerate disrespectful language.

But despite outgoing DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz resigning in the wake of the scandal, apparent Sanders supporters caused a ruckus inside the convention hall, leading some speakers to plead with the crowd to unite behind Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as For a good time at 3 a.m. call Hillary and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Daniel Webster ...
As Rep. Marcia Fudge tried to preside, boos and chants broke out, particularly whenever Clinton’s name was mentioned.

#2  SMH, what are they apologizing for? Writing the e-mails? Thinking the thoughts written down? Getting caught?

It's one thing to blurt something out in a surfeit of emotion, but, carrying on a conversation via the written word is a different kettle of ball park.

These people are simply slimy pond scum with out the redeeming features.
