French court lifts Salafist travel ban amid tensions with Muslims |

[AlAhram] A French Moslem won a court order on Tuesday lifting a travel ban she says was imposed due to her ultra-conservative Salafist beliefs, in a case exposing tensions between La Belle France's official secularism and its Moslem minority. The 19-year-old, who was raised Catholic and converted to Islam two years ago, said she had wanted to go to Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... to study but her mother alerted the authorities, suspecting her daughter had fallen into the hands of jihadist recruiters. |
