Shocking the world, Donald Trump wins US presidency | ||
2016-11-09 | ||
[Jpost] Donald Trump will become the 45th president of the United States and its commander-in-chief, a stunning achievement for a complete novice to governing whose campaign was written off by the nation's political class. He defeated Hillary Clinton, the first female presidential nominee of a major party and a former first lady, senator from New York and secretary of state. The election of Trump may be the greatest political surprise of the modern era, after the Republican nominee trailed national and state-by-state polls for over 100 consecutive days.

#13 Delicious! I was going to catch the 11 pm news before I went to bed, but fell asleep in my chair reading sometime after 10:30, woke up again about 1 am and went straight to bed, and knew nothing about it until the radio went off this morning and the news came on a few minutes later. After a few seconds of being absolutely stunned, I leaped from my bed (instead of turning over for a few more winks as I usually do) shouting, "We did it!" Still grinning. |

#12 #9 Trump has been portrayed as an unpredictable lunatic who'll use nukes just to see if they still go boom. --Matt Ronald Raygun. The same people that snicker when they say 'Teabaggers' today thought that was funny in the 80's. |

#9 Trump has been portrayed as an unpredictable lunatic who'll use nukes just to see if they still go boom. It's going to be interesting to see how that affects our diplomatic negotiations. "Hey, Prince, baby, you'll never guess what Don told me just before I got on the plane..." "I'll sign. I'll sign. What do you want me to sign?" |

#1 Today American voters told not just their own "cognitive elites" but the entire Tranzi Credentialed* Aristocracy "When Adam delved, and Eve span who was then a (credentialed) gentleman?" *through brown nosing, cheating, and never arguing with a teacher. |
