Naghdi also said that Trump represents "the real face of the US and he may accelerate collapse of the US". The Basij’s militia commander has been known for controversial statements and action. He oversaw the destruction of 100,000 satellite dishes and receivers in July as part of a widespread crackdown against the illegal devices in Iran that authorities say are morally damaging. "The truth is that most satellite channels... deviate the society’s morality and culture," he said at the time. |
