35-Mile Swiss Tunnel Opens to High-Speed Trains |

![]() Was Governor Moonbeam on hand? At 6:09 a.m. the EC11 express train to Lugano was the first regular passenger train to depart for the tunnel after thousands of test runs. I rode thru the Channel Tunnel this spring. Very boring. |

#7 I went through the Mont Blanc tunnel 30+years ago. I'm not sure if that was boring or scary......it did seem looooong. |

#1 No. Moonbeam was not there. He might have big dreams but he has not the foggiest frickin' clue how to actually complete a project like this and he can't be bothered to ask the Swiss how they did it. Moonbeam's project is more of a gravy train for cronies. |
