[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least five leaders of the Taliban group were maimed in a premature bomb kaboom in eastern Nuristan province of Afghanistan.The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said the incident took place in the vicinity of Duab district after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off prematurely.
MoD further added that the maimed Taliban leaders have been identified as Qari Mohammad Hanif, Salahuddin, Juma, Mohammad Shah, and Dad Mohammad.
According to MoD, the Taliban leaders have sustained serious injuries in the kaboom.
