| 20 ISIS troops turned into a fine red mist in Kirkuk |

| Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) International coalition air force airstrike southwest of Kirkuk killed 20 members of the self-proclaimed Islamic State extremist group, a source told Alsumaria News on Wednesday. The source said, “The international coalition air force bombarded, at noon today, headquarters of the Islamic State in the areas of Taza and al-Rashad (35 km southwest of Kirkuk), killing 20 fighters of the group.” “The air strike was conducted in coordination with Iraqi intelligence authorities,” the source added on condition of anonymity. The Islamic State group is still controlling Hawija District and its nearby areas, while security forces are carrying out operations to liberate these areas. |
