Al-shabab seizes Badhadhe after forces retreated |

![]() The Al shabaab fighters launched a counter-offensive to retake Badhadhe from the allied troops on Tuesday afternoon, before seizing the town with out encountering stiff resistance. Badhadhe – a key coastal town in Southern Somalia’s Lower Jubba region, 200Km south of Kismayo fell to Al shabaab after KDF forces withdrew from the town in January, 2016. Residents in Badhadhe reported situation is back to normal, and Al shabaab seized the while town, and hoisted it black banner on the top of police and administrative headquarters. |
