Klingons say 'no can do' to security clearance of Mike Flynn deputy |
2017-02-11 |
BLUF [Palmer Report] The Central Intelligence Agency has now denied elite security clearance for Michael Flynn’s top National Security Council deputy Robin Townley, meaning that Townley is immediately out of a job, as the clearance was required for the job. Incoming CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who was recently appointed by Donald Trump and is presumably still fully loyal to him, signed off on the denial of clearance. Assuming that Pompeo is acting on Trump’s orders, it means that Trump is now immediately freezing Michael Flynn and his staff out of power. Not sure I agree with the Palmer 'Russian' or 'freezing Flynn out' analysis. |

#8 The president can "force" approval of security clearances - several have done so on behalf of kitchen cabinet members |

#7 Maybe Trump should create an Auxiliary Security Service and staff it with people who are on our (America's) side. |

#3 Palmer is a muckraker for the left. Chances are this issue has nothing to do with Flynn's Rooshin chat. That said, you can make book that CNN and the rest already has some "expert" peddling this narrative. |

#2 The new director has not had enough time to get his feet on the ground yet. This action could see a reversal. Bottom line, Flynn is no friend of the Klingon institution. |
