#4 Another issue is the MP3s cut the hi and low end of the audio spectrum for compression reasons. It's gotten to the point that they don't even record the his and lows now in the studio when they create new music so we have a generation that has no developed an ear for flatter sound. |

#3 Sigh... Taping LP's onto cassette tapes using Dolby Stereo DBX, those were the days. Twang! I just felt another of the surviving hairs turn gray. |

#1 Yes my class A/B 1979 Yamaha experimental amp and speakers are way better than what I currently use on my computers, game machines etc.. BUT my ears are way worse then 1979 and the current stuff is way smaller and uses a lot less power. |
