Trump DONE negotiating, will LEAVE Obamacare in place if bill fails, says Mulvaney
2017-03-24
[Right Scoop] OK it looks like we’re finally seeing some "Art of the Deal" action on the "Obamacare lite" bill.

#17  Considering the republicans passed many different Obamacare repeal bills while obama was president they now look like professional liars when they could have just passed one of the previous repeal bills for trump.

#16  Rinos are as susceptible to rent-seekers as Dems. They are all part of the inner party.

The two most important reforms are the creation of nationwide insurance markets and removal of the mandate.

Do those and people will be free to pick the best plan for themselves and companies will compete. Medicaid can be used for the truly destitute.

#15  #14: "Maybe that was the plan." I don't think they are that smart. Sadly.

Repeal it, go back to a free market and trans-state.

#14  Aaaaaand it's gone.

Now Zero-Care will collapse under its own weight. Once the downside of that hits home, the voters will demand change of some sort. And the Dems will look like the chumps they were in passing it.

Maybe that was the plan. Interesting times indeed.

#12  Good on him - one should never be so invested in something that they cannot walk away.

#11   But the Pubs voted to repeal it - what? 49 times? Didn't that represent their constituents hopes and dreams? Are you telling me that was all for show? Kabuki theater?

After the first two dozen times, there certainly was that thought.

#9  It is extremely disappointing that Republicans can't seem to get this right. This is how Obama wins. If Republicans only modify ObamaCare then Baraq can always claim that he initiated health care reform in this country and still claim credit for it. ObamaCare needs to be repealed.

#8  Root and branch repeal. Screw DC.
We hired you idiots to un-do all of obamas shit. Un-do it.
Or just fucking nuke DC already
I hate that place and the scum in it.
Out or patience.

#6  The problem is the establishment Pubs don't want to repeal it. They still hold the leadership positions.

Thus, unless they are terrified of losing their jobs in 2018 they will not push repeal.

#5  ^ I've been saying that ever since I heard liberals start screeching 'what are you going to replace it with?' They got sucked into it, hook, line, sinker and pole.

#4  Anyone with a functioning brain knew "we the people" were screwed when "repeal (period)" transitioned to "repeal & replace" or "we're going to fix it."

#2  Hopefully ryancare gets rejected. Repeal Obamacare and then DC stay out of doctors offices.

#1  They've only had eight years to come up with a workable alternative plan. What can one expect on such short notice ?
