| AMISOM convoy targeted in IED blast in Mahaday |

| [SHABELLENEWS] A powerful roadside bomb struck a convoy carrying African Union forces in Mahaday town in Middle Shabelle region on Monday morning, witnesses said. Local residents said they heard loud explosion followed a thick of black smoke rising into the sky. The AU troops cordoned off the scene, and carried out an operation, with no arrests. There was no immediate confirmation of the casualties as a result of the bomb attack. |
