Trump Indicates He’s Open To Delaying Border Wall Funding In Order To Avoid Government Shutdown
2017-04-26
[DAILYCALLER] Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
signaled that he is willing to delay funding for the border wall in order to pass a spending bill and avoid a government shutdown at the end of the week.

The president said he was open to delaying funding for construction of the wall until September in a meeting with a group of news hounds at the White House Monday evening.

Trump said this does’t mean he has changed his mind on building the wall.

"Don’t let the fake media tell you that I have changed my position on the WALL," he tweeted Tuesday. "It will get built and help stop drugs, human trafficking etc."

#11  You do not need a wall. You need a total border protection SYSTEM. Wall, sensors, seismometers, method of responding to potential breach. See how Israel does it. Check out the 38th parallel.

...take away last sentence With these comments the event concluded. I approached Professor Kesler to check my assessment against his. “An impressive performance,” we both said at the same time.

And this was a blog site that was basically AntiTrump during the primaries. So who are you going to believe.

I've come to the view, we won't know till the cards are on the table.

#8  One of his biggest mistakes is having his daughter and son-in-law as advisors. Get rid of them. Embrace the Bannon. And Ryan needs to go.

#4  Remember the 'wooden' walls that protected Athens against the Persians. It wasn't a physical wall, but the fleet of Athens that defeated the Persians at Salamis. Enforce the laws*, make examples of employers.

* to include actually impeaching a few judges who believe they are the law (ie aristocrats)
