According to the channel, which cites Israeli sources and reports the quote in Hebrew, Trump reportedly yelled at Abbas, "You lied to me in Washington when you talked about commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me you were personally responsible for incitement." Paleostinian sources contradict the report, telling Channel 2 the meeting between the two leaders was calm. In his speech after the meeting, Trump insisted that terror must not be "rewarded," a comment seen as a criticism of the PA’s funding for families of imprisoned or killed terrorists. | |
