Hundreds of Palestinian paramilitary reinforcements arrive in east Damascus
2017-06-17
[ALMASDARNEWS] Hundreds of Paleostinian paramilitary personnel traveled from the Jaramana Refugee Camp to the Badiya al-Sham region of rural Damascus, Friday, a Syrian Army source reported.

According to the source, these reinforcements will replace some of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers that were redeployed to the eastern part of Damascus City.

Jaish al-Tahrir has fought in several battles in the past, including some offensives in northern Syria.

Since taking control of the border-crossing near the village of al-Boudah, the Syrian Armed Forces have postponed their operations in order to concentrate on the eastern countryside of Palmyra; they are expected to resume the offensive in the coming weeks.

#3  AlanC, it all looks just like my first 'map study' a few years ago: 1) Hold Damascus, 2) Retake Aleppo, 3) Clear Mediterranean coastal enclave next, and then 4) Sweep the rest of Syria... Assuming he doesn't run out of mercenaries first or an assassin gets lucky.
