| Gov’t troops intervene in Inter-clan fighting in Hiran |

| [SHABELLENEWS] An official says Somali government forces have intervened, and managed to stop a deadly battle between two clan militias in Danyale area, located in the outskirts of Mahas district. In an interview with Radio Shabelle, Mahas district commissioner Mumin Mohammed Halane said, the SNA forces halted the inter-clan hostilities, and brought the situation under control. Dozens of people, including civilians have been killed in days-long festivities in remote areas between Mahas and Mataban towns. The conflict sent hundreds of people fleeing to safety. The two clan forces of Evil have fighting for control of grazing lands in the rural areas on the border between Hiiraan and Galgaduud regions in central Somalia over the past few days. |

| #1 Sounds like culturally relative multiculturally authentic traditional cultural practices to me. The government interferes because it's absorbed evil western oppressive imperialist capitalist ways of oppressing multiculturally authentic traditional peoples. |
