US judge rejects Hawaii's bid to exempt grandparents from Trump travel ban
2017-07-07
A US judge on Thursday rejected the state of Hawaii's bid to exempt grandparents from President Donald Trump's temporary travel ban, but he said the state could directly ask the US Supreme Court to clarify its ruling.

US District Judge Derrick Watson in Honolulu had been asked to interpret a ruling from the US Supreme Court that revived parts of Trump's March 6 executive order banning people from six Muslim-majority countries for 90 days.

The highest court let the ban go forward with a limited scope, saying it could not apply to anyone with a credible "bona fide relationship" with a US person or entity.

#2  Is this so-called US District Judge a part of the left's Resist Movement?

1. SCOTUS decided this in the 1950 Knauff case.
2. It is completely within Trump's plenary rights as POTUS to control the flow of aliens/immigrants into our country for whatever reason. It is “inherent in the executive power to control the foreign affairs of the nation.”
3. It is not intended that the courts co-opt this plenary power of the executive branch.
