Pope Francis Says America Has ‘a Distorted Vision of the World' |
2017-07-09 |
The pope made the observation in an interview with La Repubblica reporter Eugenio Scalfari. "Last Thursday, I got a call from Pope Francis," Scalfari reported. "It was about noon, and I was at the newspaper when my phone rang." He said the pope wanted to see him at four that afternoon, according to a Google translation of the Italian report. "Pope Francis told me to be very concerned about the meeting of the G20," Scalfari wrote. "I am afraid there are very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world: America and Russia, China and North Korea, Russia and Assad in the war in Syria," the pope said. |

#17 Francis is a disaster. Sit him down, call the bullpen and get Benedict warmed up. |

#10 This is the Jesuit liberation theologist that the anti-Americans in Rome crammed into the office. The membership and money are starting to decline in the US. Keep on licking the penises. |

#8 "a distorted vision of the world" This from a catholic priest who lives in a palace surrounded by priceless works of art, and mercenary bodyguards watching the exits. Interesting point of perspective there. |

#7 Where you stand depends on where you sit. From where I sit it is Francis that needs new glasses. |

#5 They've been saying something like that since 1776. "They" being those who consider themselves to be our betters to adjudge us (and whom we've had to bail out too many times in this world). |
