The observatory revealed that shells fell, after midnight yesterday, in the regime-held Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood, west of Aleppo, causing material damages. Also, a child was killed by a bomb blast al-Thkhira Village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, while two children died in another blast in Kafr Bisin town in the northern countryside of Aleppo. Meanwhile in Homs Province, violent battles broke out between the regime forces and the Islamic State militants on Palmyra-Sukhnah road, in the eastern countryside of Homs, where casualties were reported at both sides. Yesterday, SOHR reported that regime forces managed to retake al-Hail Oil Field, as well as driving out the rest of the Islamic State members from the field. Noteworthy, regime forces are less than 15 km away from al-Sukhnah, the last stronghold of the Islamic State in Homs Province. | |
