Trump Jr. and the Russian lawyer: 'there's something very unusual about this whole thing'
2017-07-16
BLUF:
(LI) "I don’t think we need to go full conspiracy theory, but there’s something very unusual about this whole thing. There’s something that is very odd about this woman coming in on, I think they called it a visa amnesty or parole, or something like that. A very special category that I think had to be approved at the higher, or highest, levels of the Department of Justice. And she overstays the visa, and no one notices?

Something’s very strange here. And then she arranges a meeting with the inner circle, or through somebody the inner circle of the Trump campaign. Something is just not sitting right here. And then it turns out that she may have some connection to oppo researchers for the Clinton campaign or the Democrats who were trying to get dirt on Trump. Something just doesn’t seem right here, and I think it’s worth asking a lot of questions because this doesn’t just happen.

Somebody with her connections doesn’t just happen to show up at the doorstep of the campaign of one of the two major parties, who just secured enough delegates to win the nomination. It’s just very, very strange, and given her background and given what DOJ knew about her, something’s not adding up here."

#4  And, how or why did she show up before anyone took Trump seriously? She got her "visa" in Oct. '15 only 4 months after Trump declared, long before the primaries or anyone was taking Trump seriously.

This makes the skunk that visited my yard last night smell like roses.

Oh yeah, who gave her that visa?

#3  Coincidences:

Senator Grassley, in a press release outlining his potential questions to former FBI Director James Comey, notes that the FBI planned "to hire former British spy Christopher Steele to investigate Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, even though the FBI was aware that he was being paid by Democrat political operatives to conduct opposition research on Trump." Steele, you see, helped Fusion GPS compile the dossier on Donald Trump.

It could just be a coincidence that the Obama Administration let Natalia Veselnitskaya enter the United States to meet with Donald Trump, Jr. It could also be a coincidence that her client, Prevezon, hired Fusion GPS to help Russia at the same time Fusion GPS was compiling a dossier on Donald Trump claiming Trump was working with the Russians. And it could be a coincidence that the FBI considered hiring the man who helped Fusion GPS compile that dossier.

It could all be a coincidence, or it could start to paint a new picture. The Russians could have been masterfully playing both sides so that whoever won, Russia came out on top. Mrs. Clinton, after all, claims she reset the relationship with Russia.

#2  Something’s very strange here.

No stranger than "fast and furious", 2012 elections, NSA surveillance, the meeting between Lynch and Bill Clinton. The treaty with Iran, and a thousand other things happening during the Afro-EUropean presidency.

#1  Where would this Russian narrative, wild-eyed claims of treason, and demands for impeachment be today if the Veselnitskaya meeting had never taken place ?

When it became clear that Veselnitskaya possessed no 'opposition research' on the Clinton campaign and the discussion switched to the 'child adoptions' cover for action, bells and whistles should have gone off.

The absence of intelligence community or law enforcement warnings to the Trump campaign is also telling.
