| [DAWN] Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif ... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf... vacated the Prime Minister's House on Sunday and departed for Murree along with members of the Sharif family. The former premier, his wife Kulsum Nawaz, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and his son-in-law Captain Safdar vacated the PM House two days after a five-member bench of the Supreme Court unanimously found Nawaz unfit to hold public office and disqualified him for misdeclaring his assets in a landmark decision on the Panama Papers case. |
