Pentagon cites artillery ‘mishap’ in 2 US deaths in Iraq | |

The front man, Army Col. Rob Manning, says an Army artillery unit was firing on an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The front man says he could provide no other details because the incident is under investigation. The names of those killed have not been publicly released. When the deaths were announced yesterday, the US military said the incident did not involve enemy fire, but provided no other details. | |
