Secret Service nearing spending limit for protecting Trump: report |
2017-08-22 |
Secret Service Director Randolph Alles said that 1,000 agents have already hit their annual salary and overtime limits. Alles added that he is in discussions with lawmakers to increase the pay caps for agents from $160,000 to $187,000 per year. The increased spending is due in part to Trump's frequent travel from the White House to his properties along the East Coast. He returned to Washington late Sunday from a "working vacation" at his New Jersey golf club. |

#8 I think the differences is probably the investigation of all the Soros Sponsored, Democratic Party and Media Approved, Death Threats against the President. It's a wonder what throwing a few in Jail for 5 years will do for your budget in the future. |

#7 The difference is not the travel -- the Obamas were in the habit of running off to New York City for dinner and a show, and spent their holidays in various fashionable places -- the difference is in whining to the media. |

#3 Heard this was b.s. from the m.s.m. No mention of Trump not taking a salary or using his hotels or Trump Tower for government meeting sites. USA Today is part of Deep State. I dumped them awhile back. |

#2 Well, they'll just have to pull the protection then, and let nature take its course. Oh well! Budget, you see! |
