| #5 As I watched the eclipse, it was kind of a black white thing literally. At the peak, it got quite dark and the street lights came on. The crickets and Katydids started chirping. One woman told me the bats around her house began flying aso if it were dusk or evening. After, the peak, there were shadows cast on the ground that were created called snakes but they looked more like a scalloped pattern. |

| #4 African Americans do seem less interested in astronomy and other sciences. Perhaps the solar eclipse is just giving them the distance they clearly want. |
