John Bolton: 'Danger of a terrorist takeover of Afghanistan'
2017-08-22
[Arutz Sheva] Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton says that there is still a danger of a terrorist takeover of Afghanistan.

Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton reacted to President Trump's announcement of a new strategy towards Afghanistan.

"The threat and danger of a terrorist takeover of Afghanistan remains. That's the fact" he told Fox Business.

Bolton added that "the fact is that we are still engaged there, we have been engaged there, but after tonight it is President Trump's strategy."

U.S. President Donald Trump announced Monday night that the American military strategy in Afghanistan and South Asia will shift from a time-based approach to one based on conditions.

"We will not talk about numbers of troops or our plans for further military activities. Conditions on the ground, not arbitrary time tables, will guide our strategy from now on," he stressed.

#4  Good luck. A lot of white boys from the South won't be joining up to play army anymore.

#1  Bolton points to China's support of Pakistan and facilitating Pakistan's nuclear capability (not unlike the facilitation of North Korea's nuclear capability) as the source of much of the AFG problem.
