A Bowling Green man was arrested Friday and charged with fourth-degree assault after an incident at the Bowling Green home of U.S. Sen. Rand Paul. Paul told police the suspect tackled him from behind & forced him to the ground. Sen. Paul is also a currently licensed MD in Kentucky. The suspect, Rene A. Boucher, D.O. is listed as an "inactive physician", "retired" with KY license having expired 2/28/2015. Other sources indicate Boucher's specialty had been anesthesiologist / pain management. |

| #8 The Daily Caller adds: Kentucky State Board of Election voting records list Boucher as a registered Democrat. A person with the same name also works as an anesthesiologist in Bowling Green. A Facebook account that appears to be maintained by Boucher contains numerous anti-Donald Trump postings. |
