Westpac shut down the turban group's bank account in October and PayPal have now banned the group from using their service. Brothers Behind Bars claims to raise thousands of dollars for dozens of turbans and their families - including ISIS-affiliated Sulayman Khalid, who was sentenced to 16 years and nine months in prison without parole for his role in a foiled terrorist attack in Sydney. After being informed by Westpac their account had been closed Brothers Behind Bars issued a statement saying the group was a victim of 'media lies' and 'false propaganda'. |
