Trump using al-Quds move to boost his popularity: Pundit
2017-12-06
[PRESSTV] US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
has raised the prospect of moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds because he is losing popularity within his base, says a commentator.

"Donald Trump ... is behaving increasingly irrationally and seems determined to provoke worldwide Moslem opinion and the reason is not difficult to see because inside America by every measure his popularity is decreasing," Mick Napier, an activist with the Scottish Paleostine Solidarity Campaign, told Press TV on Tuesday.

Trump’s potential declaration of Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s "capital" has drawn opposition from various countries and international bodies, including The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
and the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...

#3  Whether it comes to fruition or not, each of these 'unpopular' campaign promises that Trump engages in forces conversation on the topic. Public conversations that were (deliberately?) avoided by prior administrations. We also see the narrow breadth and shallow depth of the special interest protesters.

#1  Translator's notes:
1) By al-Quds, we mean Jerusalem
2) By increasingly irrational, we mean fulfilling campaign promises.
3) By increased violence in the Middle East, we mean business as usual

So much winning. And to be fair, more than a little credit goes to the frackers who have blunted the Arab oil weapon and up-ended their economies.
