In a statement, the ministry said, "the troops of Salahuddin Operations Command carried out a wide-scale campaign to inspect an island in west of Tikrit. This came after information showed presence of group of forces of Evil in villages of al-Jouza and al-Shiha." While inspection, seven rest houses were seized," according to the statement. "Our troops deployed between al-Salman and al-Mashak, east of Makhoul mountains, noticed presence of forces of Evil there. Three of them, including a suicide attacker, were killed." |
