Trump: N. Korea agrees to halt missile tests until meeting

[RT] US President Donald Trump has said that North Korea has promised not to conduct any missile tests up to and during the planned meetings between the two adversaries. Trump took to his favorite medium - Twitter - to make the announcement on Saturday. “North Korea has not conducted a Missile Test since November 28, 2017 and has promised not to do so through our meetings,” Trump wrote, adding that he believes “they will honor that commitment!”
It's kinda fun, watching the Dems try to a.) ignore it, b.) caution that Trump's gonna get snookered and c.) try to double down on evaporating "scandals." My guess is that Trump used Stormy Daniels as the secret go-between. That's why Li'l Kim looks so happy.

#6  The left is being hypocritical about this, but looking at the realistic best case (treaty, Norks cash in Danegeld, Norks cheat) I'm skeptical.

However the fact that the Trump administration has set other preconditions for the meeting after both sides had publicly agreed to meet, which is a typical North Korean style maneuver suggests that this might actually be an effort to increase psychological pressure on the Nork leadership.

Trump, after all defeated Hillary by campaigning like a leftist.

We have seen this same pattern play out before:
1) The Trump tax cuts are just payoffs to his fat-cat friends and will do nothing for the economy.
2) The Trump tariffs on steel and aluminum will trash the economy right when it is humming along again.

#4  ...The pushback has already started, with the MSM hinting that DJT completely left SecState out of the loop on this, and how can you believe Trump will succeed when he shafts his SecState like that (the same SecState they have insisted is a unqualified incompetent who is only there as a political favor to Trump)?
