| [KhaamaPress] The US military is partnering with the Afghan national defense and security forces to bolster the security of capital Kabul. The commander of the US Forces in Afghanistan and the NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... -led Resolute Support Mission Gen. John Nicholson has said efforts are underway to harden the security of Kabul in a bid to protect the people and international community in the capital city. "The goal was to establish an inner-ring of security along with an outer-ring of security, and clear everything in between," Gen. Nicholson was quoted as saying in a report by Rooters. He also added that a group of newly arriving U.S. Army advisers would partner with some of the Afghan troops securing Kabul. Commandos would carry out intelligence-driven raids throughout the city. |
