[ALMASDARNEWS] A Ottoman Turkish military convoy was pictured heading towards the Idlib Governorate city of Jisr al-Shughour, today, as negotiations with the Russian Reconciliation Center failed in northern Syria.
The Ottoman Turkish military convoy reportedly approached the Idlib Governorate via the Khirbat al-Joz area; however, their personnel would remain in the Hatay Province.
According to a Syrian military source, the Ottoman Turkish military is planning to setup an observation point near Jisr al-Shughour in order to deter the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) from launching an offensive to capture this city.
This latest report comes just 24 hours after the Ottoman Turkish military refused to handover Jisr al-Shughour to the Syrian Army, despite the fact they demanded control of Tal Rifa’at in northern Aleppo. |
