Update from T4 airbase just attacked by missiles/strikes in East #Homs

1. Over 20 missiles landed in and around the Airbase

2. 8 were reportedly intercepted by Syrian air defenses

3. Sirens were sounded 5 minutes before the attack, which the base was expecting and on full alert

4. Maintenance section of the airbase was hit and damaged

5. A Number of Drones in the base were targeted and destroyed

6. Most of the fallen/casualties have been either from the #SAA or Iranian backed auxiliary groups also present at the base

7. Whist initially thinking the Strikes were U.S led, it seems more likely that the IDF was the main perpetrator, attacked the area before & U.S immediately denied it.

8. If its a Israeli attack, which seems more convincing now, then its a clear retaliation for the downing of an Israeli F-16 months ago.

9. And more importantly, this airbase was the source of the suspected Iranian drone which came near #Israel- #Syria border & started process of maneuvering which led to Israeli Jet being downed.

10. What better time for #Israel to attack #Syria than when the whole world is waiting for #Trump response to suspected CW'S attack and on the same day that JAI leaves #Douma

11. Clarification that U.S is not conducting strikes on #SAA in #Syria at the moment, they wouldn't have cause to deny it at all, they said they would take action, so case for #Israel strikes on T4 seems far more convincing

12. Unconfirmed Video purportedly shows the moment #SAA air-defense launched rocket at the missiles targeting T4 airbase

Rooters adds that Israel has no comment.

I was thinking... exterminate a Russian Chef's little private army in the east of Syria? That would be a multi-dimensional message on so many levels. He just maneuvered to get a black sea port owned by a competitor to him and a Caspian Sea one given to the Iranians. He's an ally of Putin and Pencil Neck. Karma on lots of levels...
