Chinese investment in the US falls sharply in 2017 |

#2 When the Japanese were economically threatened by Detroit Inc with tariffs after the oil embargo showed Americans flocking to their small, fuel efficient, well built, one short sticker price cars and taking 1/4 of the entire market, they started building auto plants in the US, undercutting any such future threat. |
