| At that scale why didn't they go Old School and just buy an old mine shaft. No water bill with water naturally in the lower levels of a mine. Put a solar array or windmill above ground for a future power system to power it and use the same lights they did in their houses. That way it's all underground with no LED light frequency signature for the satellites to pickup, no electric bill and no water bill. Amateurs! Oh, and if they really want it stealthy, choose a mine with a spring above and divert some of the water for watering and to power instead of visible power above ground. It's what smarter players did in the ‘70s. That leaves their hole being maintance, transport and sales. |
